80:20 Development in an Unequal World (and its accompanying CD-ROM introduces and explores some of the major development, human rights and (in)justice issues around the world. It includes some of the major arguments, analysis and viewpoints from around the world aimed at stimulating thought, debate and analysis of the issues identified, and encourages reflection and critical and active engagement with the content. It is written in accessible language and avoids much of the jargon associated with development studies.

The CD includes a complete version of the book and also additional materials designed to stimulate ideas on how to use the resources; support in organising workshops and activities around the content and the issues presented; reflections on the nature and approach of development and human rights education.

The resource includes: comprehensive statistics, case studies, key issue analysis, graphs, summary charts and a list of websites as well as a range of different and diverse perspectives from around the world to promote active learning.

Each chapter finished with suggested topics for specific further reading.
