The Travel Mural

This mural was painted by boys from 5th and 6th class in St Cronan’s National School Bray, with the help of Zambian artist Stary Mwaba.

Wall murals offer a space for reflection, learning and rereading, especially in educational contexts.

There are a lot of families in Bray who have come from other countries to start a new life here. We should welcome them because there were many other families from here who had to leave Bray in the past to look for work in other countries. Who knows, but this could happen to us in the future and we would like to have a welcome then.

The message of the mural is that not everyone is as lucky as you or I and we should always try to help them whenever we can.
