Description

This magazine is written for adults to help you become more confident in your critical thinking for today’s media and digital world.

Every day we deal with a lot of information. Some of this information could be false or misleading. We need to learn how to work out if what we are reading or hearing is true or false. We can do this by identifying the source and ‘fact checking’ the information.

Through 9 news-related exercises, QR codes to support your learning, the Questions Matter magazine shares tips and tools you can use to help build your media literacy skills, with some exercises you can use to practise.

This magazine was created as part of a project to develop a microlearning course for tutors, supported by Bray Adult Learning Centre, Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board, the Bray Area Partnership, 80:20 Educating and Acting for a Better World and the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), supported through the Adult Literacy for Life Collaboration and Innovation Fund.
