A glimpse of the quietly devastating impacts of border closures, and reflections of some of the women and men stranded in Idomeni, Greece, as they seek refuge in Europe.
The Border highlights the dislocation of the more than 12,000 women, men and children migrants who were stranded there earlier this year and the real impact of European border closures as expressed by those most directly affected.
Directed by Caoimhe Butterly, The Border won the The Grand Prize in Irish Council for Civil Liberties (ICCL) Human Rights Film Awards 2016.
Other short films in the series: The Camp, The Port and Refuge.
