Description
Since this video was published, President Bukele has won a second term, and continued to gain praise from people and leaders around the world for making El Salvador safer. Human rights groups though continue to highlight the serious human rights abuses, including torture, that have gone along with the mass incarceration of mostly young males in recent years.
This video highlights much of these issues through speaking with El Salvadorans, and will bring up questions about the concept of security at any cost, and how human rights are still not a priority in many parts of the world.
