Description

Changing Perspectives is a resource for teachers wishing to explore the issues of diversity and equality with their students. It includes activities, student worksheets and teacher’s notes. The activities provided are designed to explore the concepts of human dignity, human rights and responsibilities, democracy, interdependence and development.

Although designed with CSPE in mind, many of the activities can be adapted for transition year subjects, English, Human Geography or religious education.

This resource includes:

  • 18 activities-based resource exploring prejudice, racism, inclusion and interculturalism
  • uses a variety of methodologies, case studies, activities, analysis, student worksheets,
  • teachers notes, references and onward links

Suggested use: Stimulus, introductory material and to explore and debate citizenship in the context of children’s rights
