International organisations have acknowledged the significance of youth on various prominent development fora, a population that has been prominently featured in 12 of the 17 SDGs and with sufficient support, youth will be instrumental in fulfilling the SDGs. This policy outlines a ten-year vision for youth development in India, aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It focuses on five main areas: education, employment, youth leadership, health, and social justice, with a commitment to social inclusion.
