This activity pack explores environmental problems in Latin America and how they relate to global warming and climate change, as well as efforts by Latin American people to fight back against environmental destruction.

Description
This pack includes nine different activities, using resources from Latin America. Most can be used in English or Spanish. Curriculum links for all activities are also included for both the Irish junior and senior cycles.
The nine activities are:
- Introductory activity: Environmental problems in the world today
- Activity 1: Deforestation in the Amazon
- Activity 2: Blood Diamonds and Dirty Gold (Readings in Spanish but can be easily translated)
- Activity 3: Against the Mine! (Readings and questions in Spanish but can be easily translated)
- Activity 4: Fossil Fuels and Renewable Energy
- Activity 5: Blood Coal
- Activity 6: Classroom Debate (Some videos only available in Spanish, but activity still doable without them)
- Activity 7: Modes of Transport/Medios de Transporte (Only available in Spanish)
- Activity 8: Where the Road Goes
