Summary
The Just World Youth Poetry Slam first took place online from March to July 2021. Intended to act as a space for young poets from around Ireland to address issues of global justice and equality through their words, this zine collection gathers 15 poems from across the world based on performances at the poetry slam event.

Description
The Just World Youth Poetry Slam is a collaboration between Creativity & Change, MTU, Cork and the Irish Refugee Council.
This zine features contributions from poets Kelvin Akpaloo, Timo GK, William McCabe, Maya Amlin, Fergus Crockett, Daniel M Kamenyezi, Diane Iroulor, Najah Mawass, Kritika Tandon, Criomhthann Morrison, Seddik Jelouane, Agbeyetalks and Precious Tedeye. It also includes a number of original illustrations to accompany the release of the collection.
The poems that night were beautiful, harsh and powerful. We had a sense of being part of
something bigger. There were no borders here.
The zine was designed by Helen O’ Keeffe and illustrated by Claire Coughlan.
